The subject of the contract is the continuation of the design and construction of the S-5 expressway on the section constituting the border of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Wielkopolskie Voivodeships on the section from the “Białe Błota” junction to the “Szubin” junction. The S5 expressway is one of the largest investments carried out in the country. The route runs from the south to the north, connecting four large agglomerations: Wrocław, Poznań, Bydgoszcz and Gdańsk, thus becoming one of the main roads of a fundamental nature for the country’s economy. The S5 road will run from the A1 motorway in Nowe Marzy near Grudziądz to Mielno on the border with Wielkopolska Street. The construction of the S-5 expressway will improve safety and reduce the number of accidents. It will also relieve the burden on towns to a large extent by taking over transit traffic. It is worth noting that the Bydgoszcz bypass together with the S5 route not only facilitates communication, but also strengthens the economic potential of the entire Bydgoszcz Metropolis. The road will meet the conditions regarding the needs of the defense of the Polish State. In addition, the extension of national road No. 12 will improve traffic for all traffic participants – drivers, pedestrians and cyclists, as well as improve the aesthetic values of the area. The project required the development of a complex document, which is an environmental impact assessment report. The subject of the project is the construction of a facility called Business Incubator located in the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technology Park. The facility will consist of a production, warehouse and office part, connected by communication. In the office part, offices for rent to startup companies are planned. The production and warehouse part consists of a hall and a social and sanitary part. The plot has been fully equipped with technical infrastructure connections: heating network, water supply, sanitary and rainwater sewage, electricity and telecommunications. Paved manoeuvring areas, parking lots and internal roads have been designed around the building. The design process was initiated during the change of land use, related to the permanent exclusion of forest land from production. The design solutions should take into account that the investment was located near the site of protected plants (knotweed), which had to be left. In addition, permits had to be obtained for a derogation from the ban on the destruction of a protected species – the sand moth.
